 As of 2nd of October 2008 Access Office Industries® has officially ceased being a Precision Distributor in Western Australia. This Cessation being brought about by Dexion not wishing Access Office Industries® to continue with the brand after 15 years. While Access Office Industries® is unhappy with the outcome it was left with no other choice but to accept the termination of the distribution agreement.

Access Office Industries® would like to point out that most of the products carrying the Precision name over the last 15 Years were indeed it's own products sourced from other companies. These products only carried the Precision branding due to agreements between Access Office Industries® and Precision/Dexion. With the termination of the distribution agreement Access has simply rebranded these products to Profile™. Access would like to reaffirm its ongoing support to all dealers and the products sold to them under the Precision Brand.

However Access Office Industries will not be able to supply warranty support for some items. Precision Classics - The filing cabinets with the black handles. This is the one product supplied by Precision/Dexion New Zealand and they will be responsible from:

2nd of October 2008 for all Enquiries and/or product claims.

For example Precision Metros purchased on or before the 2nd of October 2008 are now Profile 35's so both products will be covered and supported by Access Office Industries®. Access Office Industries® is unsure of Precision/Dexion's plans for the Precision brand, But would like to advise that if you are offered a Precision product like the Precision Metro filing Cabinet from Precision/Dexion or a Precision Stationery Cupboard it will not be what you are used to and what Access Office Industries® has previously supplied you. These are now Profile™ and can be bought as usual through Access Office Industries®.
